Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) - Adventures on the Gorge

Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP)

Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) is a rapidly growing sport that has evolved from surfing – instead of paddling with your arms, you stand up on the board and paddle with a long-shafted paddle. SUP gives you a unique perspective in the water, and you'll be amazed at how easy it is to paddle.

Worried about having no balance? Our instructors will tailor a progression for your skill level to help you get comfortable with the board. Beginner lessons are held in the no-wakes zone of Hawk's Nest Lake or Summersville Lake depending on water levels.

If you'd like to mix it up, try our Summersville Multisport Lake Tour, where you can SUP, rock climb, swim, or just chill on the boat.

Minimum Age: 10
