The perfect balance of relaxation and thrills, our half-day Lake Multi-Sport adventure trip is the ultimate summer experience. This trip navigates Summersville Lake on a pontoon boat, giving you the option to just chill on board, go for a swim, or explore the lake on a stand-up paddleboard. We provide transportation to and from Summersville Lake as well as safety equipment. This trip is truly one of a kind. Not only will you get to cruise around one of the most beautiful lakes that you just have to see to believe, but you’ll also experience many of the activities that make our area in West Virginia so unique!

Sheer cliff walls and rock formations surround much of the lake, making it much different from many other lakes in the country. And the best way to explore the coves, waterfalls, and rock faces is with Adventures on the Gorge on a pontoon boat!

Summersville Lake, known as the “Little Bahamas of the East” is the largest lake in West Virginia. This reservoir was made when the Gauley River was dammed in the 1960s and serves as a recreational paradise all summer long. The crystal clear water, which earned Summersville Lake its nickname, is released for 6 weekends every fall, creating a different recreational experience: Gauley River rafting.
