Overview

2-Hour Guided Hike

No matter the season, there’s no simpler, more down-to-earth way to see the beauty of the Appalachian Mountains and the New River Gorge than with one of our guided hikes. If you’ve got just a little time to kill and want to squeeze in just one more adventure on your West Virginia visit, our 2-hour hike is the one for you.

The New River Gorge boasts over 100 miles of hiking trails, and our guides familiar with the local terrain will show you some of the best and most accessible. Our most popular 2-hour hikes are the Endless Wall Trail and Ram’s Head Overlook. Both wander through beautiful hardwood forest to emerge at breathtaking overlooks with panoramic vistas of the New River Gorge. You may even see Adventures on the Gorge rafts dropping into rapids hundreds of feet below!

On our guided hikes, you’ll experience the beauty of the trails in the New River Gorge National Park with the added benefit of being guided by one of our professional and knowledgeable guides, allowing you to learn about the region and the flora and fauna of the area.

A 2-hour guided hike is a great addition to any of our more involved climbing, aerial, or rafting adventures, no matter what season.
