West Virginia Spring Rafting

Spring is the ideal time to discover the excitement of whitewater rafting. Before the summer crowds arrive, you can enjoy high water, big waves, and gorgeous scenery on the New River. Whether it’s your first time on the water or you’re an experienced rafter, we have trips for all ages and ability levels. Those looking for an introduction to rafting will find beginner-friendly rapids on the Upper New River. This mild section of river features calm pools separated by fun, splashy wave trains perfect for beginners and children as young as 6. Adrenaline seekers will meet their match on the thrilling rapids of the Lower New River, where Class II-IV rapids await. This beautiful section of the river offers stunning views of the gorge and concludes with a breathtaking view of the iconic New River Gorge Bridge.
