As winter sets in and snowflakes and holidays swirl around the New River Gorge, the small town of Fayetteville is buzzing with festivities, shopping, music, and locals. While most visitors think of the New River Gorge as a summertime destination, year-round residents (and those who are in-the-know) treasure the winter season just as much.

The New River Gorge and Fayetteville turns into a sleepy, charming small town in the winter. It’s a great time to step away from the hustle and bustle of life and relax in the magical bubble we have here.

Wintertime also brings the opportunity to cross country ski or hit the slopes for down hill skiing, snow boarding or tubing. If you are not into the snow, enjoy soaking in the hot tub on the deck of our deluxe cabins.
