Overview

Float Fish with Time to Spare

Exceptional habitats, deep pools, and swift currents make West Virginia a fisherman’s paradise. The boulder-rich waterways in the New River Gorge offer plenty of shade, which keeps waters cool to attract fish. It’s not uncommon to reel in dozens of fish in just one day spent on the New River!

Perfect for guests who’ve planned an adventure-packed itinerary, this half-day trip is a shorter version of our traditional full-day float fishing trip. You’ll still fish the New River, but you’ll spend four hours on the water instead of eight. Choose from spin fishing or fly fishing–just let us know your preference when you book your trip.
