Your group of two to six riders will follow a trail guide for about two hours as you ride through the back hills that surround the New River Gorge area. Your trail ride will include a venture to the rim of the New River Gorge, offering beautiful scenery for a picture-perfect moment.

What's Provided

Our adventure partner will provide the horses and all the riding gear you need.

What to Bring

Sturdy, closed-toed shoes are required for horseback riding. We also suggest wearing longer pants for comfort while on the saddle.

Where to Meet

Please check in at our adventure partner’s stable located at Cowboy Town (25719 Midland Trail in Hico, West Virginia). Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of your ride.

Requirements & Restrictions

All participants must weigh no more than 220 pounds.
8 years is the minimum age for this adventure.
All trail rides must be groups of two to six people.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to ride time.
Please note that cancellations for this adventure made within five days or less are nonrefundable.
