West Virginia has more than just whitewater!

Stand up Paddleboarding, or SUP, has rapidly grown in popularity over the years. At AOTG, we can show you how to paddle on this half-day experience! Trips are guided and take place at Hawks Nest Lake, a flatwater section of the New River.
SUP has evolved from surfing. Instead of paddling with your arms, you stand up on the board and maneuver with a long-shafted paddle. SUP gives you a unique perspective in the water, and you’ll be amazed at how easy it is to paddle!
Worried about balancing on the board? Our guides are experts at working with beginners, and they’ll tailor a progression based on your comfort and skill levels.
