Overview

SUP on Summersville Lake

Experience the rapidly growing sport of stand up paddleboarding (SUP) on the beautiful, clear waters of Summersville Lake! SUP has evolved from surfing. Instead of paddling with your arms, you stand up on the board and maneuver with a long-shafted paddle. SUP gives you a unique perspective in the water, and you’ll be amazed at how easy it is to paddle!

Worried about balancing on the board? Our guides are experts at working with beginners, and they’ll tailor a progression based on your comfort and skill levels. Beginner lessons are held in no-wakes zones, which also helps you get your footing. If you’d like to mix it up for a well-rounded experience on Summersville Lake, check out our Lake Multi-Sport–Half Day adventure! You’ll SUP, rock climb, swim, or even just relax on the boat.
