Wild Cave Tour

Let’s go 120 feet below the Earth’s surface and explore the Lost World Cavern.

Discovered in 1942, this cave system is a vast wonderland of stalactite and stalagmites, and offers challenges as you go deeper into the cave with our experienced guides.

Our adventure partner, Lost World Caverns, provides a guide with each trip.
The staff at Lost World Caverns will outfit your group with helmets, lights, kneepads and gloves. A light snack and water are provided during the tour and your guide will capture your experience on camera, from clean start to muddy end. We have showers available to get cleaned up afterwards and we will provide a hot picnic lunch for everyone on the trip at the end. Each person will receive a set of photos of the expedition on a CD at no extra charge.
No special equipment is necessary beyond your own clothing and boots. It’s 55 degrees and damp in there, so dress accordingly. Closed-toe shoes are required. You will get dirty and wet, so bring a change of clothes and a bag for your dirty stuff. You are guaranteed to need it upon return.
This trip meets at Lost World Caverns, about an hour drive from our resort. You are responsible for your own transportation.

Though caving isn’t physically demanding, you will need to crawl in some portions. Some areas of the cave are very narrow, so please take that into consideration if you have claustrophobia.

Your guides and leaders will discuss specific safety requirements on site.
