Youth Groups

Awesome outdoor activities? Check. Camping, bunkhouses, and cabins? Check. Meals for the whole group? Check that off, too. Group rates? Of course! Here at Adventures on the Gorge, we strive to connect people to the great outdoors–which is a proven link to a happier, healthier life. We truly believe in the power of play and that our outdoor setting and activities help cultivate relationships.

Give the youth of today the opportunity to disconnect from their devices and connect with their peers and the outdoors. We’ll help your group leader plan your retreat from start to finish, and we can’t wait to get started.

Scout Groups

There’s nothing more important to us than developing a passion for the outdoors in our younger generations. As scout leaders, we support you and your troop and hope to provide the skills and tools for them to pursue an active lifestyle for years to come.

Whether you choose to bring your troop to earn a few fun merit badges or just want to get outdoors and explore new terrain, we are your partner in outdoor excellence.

FAQ

How do I file my tax exempt status?

In order to process WV Sales Tax Exempt status on your reservation, you need to complete this exact form (link fillable form) and return it to us at Adventures on the Gorge. To maintain exemption, payment must be submitted only by the organization claiming the exemption.

How can a group leader see who has completed their waivers?

At Adventures on the Gorge, we have a Group Leader Portal which will give you access to review payments and waivers. Talk to your Group Sales agent regarding password set-up, and they can share the link with you as well.

What do we do if we’re arriving by bus (school or charter)?

You will want to notify your Group Sales agent if you are arriving by bus in order to prepare properly. We can provide a specific bus parking map, and, if staying overnight, you may need to reserve a luggage shuttle depending on your accommodations.

Does Adventures on the Gorge offer Merit Badge programs?

Yes, we offer Merit Badge programs for kayaking, whitewater, and climbing! We also offer a trip that meets the 50-Miler Award requirements.
