Each season on the New River Gorge brings its own kind of beauty and adventure!
Spring Adventures
In the spring, the honeysuckle begins to bloom and fill the air with its sweet aroma. The water of the New River is at its highest starting in April, which means rafting season can begin!
Summer Adventures
Come summertime, the weather is at its most comfortable with warm days and slightly cool nights. You can enjoy the water to the fullest and hike through the woods, where you’ll find West Virginia’s pink rhododendron bushes in full bloom. Check out the 4th of July fireworks in downtown Fayetteville!
Fall Adventures
As fall makes its way back, the mountains become a beautiful tapestry of reds, yellows, and oranges. It’s time for Gauley Season and the biggest whitewater of the year! Come October, join us for Bridge Day and watch BASE jumpers take flight off the New River Gorge Bridge.
Winter Adventures
When the rafting season ends, winter begins. Visitors enjoy cozy mountain cabins in a winter wonderland–and save up to 50% off from November 1 through April 30. We even continue some of our adventures throughout the winter months: TreeTops Zipline Canopy Tour, Tour The Gorge, Guided Hiking, Side-by-Side trips, and more! We are also located 40 minutes from Winterplace Ski Resort!
