Spring Adventures

In the spring, the honeysuckle begins to bloom and fill the air with its sweet aroma. The water of the New River is at its highest starting in April, which means rafting season can begin!

Summer Adventures

Come summertime, the weather is at its most comfortable with warm days and slightly cool nights. You can enjoy the water to the fullest and hike through the woods, where you’ll find West Virginia’s pink rhododendron bushes in full bloom. Check out the 4th of July fireworks in downtown Fayetteville!

Fall Adventures

As fall makes its way back, the mountains become a beautiful tapestry of reds, yellows, and oranges. It’s time for Gauley Season and the biggest whitewater of the year! Come October, join us for Bridge Day and watch BASE jumpers take flight off the New River Gorge Bridge.

Winter Adventures

When the rafting season ends, winter begins. Visitors enjoy cozy mountain cabins in a winter wonderland–a private oasis just 40 minutes from ski resorts, and even  year-round trails, and more. Visit Fayetteville County Park for their Winter Wonderland of Lights, or join locals as they take part in the Fayette Station Polar Swim–an annual New Year’s Day tradition.
