Smokey’s on the Gorge

Perched on the rim of the New River Gorge, Smokey’s is our signature restaurant offering dining with an awe-inspiring view.  Smokey’s menu offers a wide variety of satisfying entrees, sandwiches, salads, and house-made sides. Enjoy juicy steaks, seafood entrees including seared salmon and Mahi Mahi, or vegetarian options such as our Cauliflower Steak. Smokey’s is also known for our mouthwatering, hickory flavored, slow-smoked meats including chicken, pork, turkey or brisket.

Smokey’s is named after the late Dana “Smokey” Morton, who was a former bus driver who shuttled adventures to and from the river. A notable figure in Adventures on the Gorge’s history, Smokey is still remembered for his big smile, handlebar mustache, and warm spirit–the latter of which we strive to keep alive for everyone who walks through the restaurant’s doors.

Smokey’s is open for dinner Thursday-Sunday from 5-9 PM (closed Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays)

Smokey’s is also open for Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday from 7am – 10am
