Love the New River? Love rafting the New River so much that you want to experience it twice in the same day? Then the Double Lower New River Rapid Run is for you! Since no two rafting trips are alike, this trip allows you to get your rafting on with two back-to-back trips down the Lower New River, experiencing every hit and wave twice so you won’t miss a thing!
The Lower New River travels through the New River Gorge National Park, where you’ll experience class II-IV rapids and the beauty that makes this place so special. Known as a “drop-pool” river, flat water punctuates the rapids, allowing you to take breaks after rapids.
After your first run, you’ll hop on the bus and head back upstream to do it all over again. Your guides will also serve you lunch, too!
This year, raft and raft some more on the Double Lower New Rapid Run!

FAQ
About the River
Did you know the New River is said to be the second-oldest river in the world? Over millions of years, its white water has carved the New River Gorge and left us with large shelf drops and boulders–a perfect combination of waves and hydraulics that make for world-class rafting. The Lower New River provides adventurous rafting, while the Upper New River is typically more tame.
